Andy is the Software Director at MidlandHR, an independent HR and Payroll software and services organisation founded in 1984, today employing over 300 people in the UK.
MidlandHR's highly successful Payroll and Human Resource Management System,
iTrent, represents a multi-million pound investment in Compuware's
UNIFACE application development technology and automated testing tools. iTrent is a modern, zero-footprint, highly scalable and truly web-based application offering rich functionality to end users and powerful online services to the business. MidlandHR now has over 400 public and private sector customers, using its software to pay just under 10% of the UK working population each month.
Andy graduated from Sheffield University in 1998 and joined MidlandHR as a programmer, followed by a succession of technical management roles including the management of Technical Consultancy, Software Testing and Technology & Research departments. He is now responsible for all UK and offshore Development, Testing and Support functions at MidlandHR, enjoying a close working relationship with Compuware in the UK and with the Labs in Amsterdam. When Andy is not working, he enjoys running and spending time with his young family.
